Job summary
Senior Care Assistant Days. Parklands Care Home
- £14 per hour
- 22 hours per week (2 shifts per week) or 44 hours (4 shifts per week)
- 8am-8pm

We are currently recruiting compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistants Days to join our dedicated team and help deliver outstanding care during day shifts.
As a Senior Care Assistant on Days, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and supervise care staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery.
- Provide personal care, emotional support, and companionship to residents.
- Administer and manage medication safely in line with regulatory standards.
- Contribute to care planning and complete risk assessments to support individual needs.
- Support the Home Manager with staff development, record-keeping, and day-to-day operations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals to support holistic care.
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a senior care role within a residential or nursing home.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A compassionate and professional approach to care.
- Flexibility to work on a rolling rota.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.
