The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting residents with their daily living needs while ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and attention. You will work closely with colleagues, residents, relatives, and healthcare professionals to provide a positive and enriching experience for those living at Abbey House.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care in accordance with individual care plans.
- Assisting residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, hydration, and daily activities.
- Promoting residents' independence, dignity, choice, and privacy at all times.
- Developing positive and professional relationships with residents and their families.
- Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns promptly and appropriately.
- Supporting social activities and encouraging meaningful engagement within the home.
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
About You
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
