Job summary
The Role
As Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and performance of the home. You will drive quality care, ensure regulatory compliance, support staff development, and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a dedicated team to deliver outstanding care.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and performance.
- Oversee budgets and financial performance.
- Maintain high occupancy levels through excellent reputation management and community engagement.
- Monitor and improve quality standards and resident satisfaction.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture throughout the home.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience managing a residential or nursing care home.
- Possesses a strong understanding of care regulations and quality standards.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Has experience managing budgets and operational performance.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional resident care.
- Holds a relevant health and social care qualification (Level 5 Leadership and Management or equivalent preferred).
