Directions:

The hospital is off the A140 north of Norwich on the Cromer Road between the villages of Buxton and Aylsham.

Visiting:

Weekdays are from 16.30hrs until 20.00hrs.
Weekends and Bank Holidays from 09.00 until 20.00hrs.
Can be flexible about this when families and carers have come from a long way but try to limit disruption to therapy and education
There is a Family Visiting Room on site which is available to use providing adequate notice is given so that it can be booked.Visits to be from family members only. Named friends may visit after discussion with the care team. Any Visitor under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and identification will be required. No more than 4 visitors per person can be permitted without prior agreement for special
circumstances

Free on site family accommodation is available 6 times a year for a maximum of 2 days per visit. This can be booked through admin reception Monday to Friday 9-5pm

Parking:

There is plenty of parking in the grounds of the hospital for visitors and staff.

Many thanks for your feedback. We are about to purchase more games and toys for our meeting rooms and we are also currently improving our reception area to ensure that families visiting with younger children have better facilities. Thank you again.

The day-to-day care and care staff are excellent.
The staff is relaxed and human and they treat young people with respect and compassion.
Medical care while well-intentioned is tardy and slow to respond and has an agenda that is more to do with maintaining occupancy and less with moving young people on.

The hospital is secure, it keeps my daughter safe, she has therapies she can access. The staff are kind and understanding. Food is good. She has been to a lot of hospitals.
