Care Circle Group HR and Resourcing Officer, Mandy McQuillan recently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management giving her a Level 7 CIPD qualification.
It took two (very long) years part time at the University of Ulster where Mandy was able to fit in her studies around work life by attending on a partial day release one day a week from the office. The Post Graduate Diploma covered modules on Employee Relations, Employment Law and Resourcing and Talent Management to name a few! When asked which of the modules she enjoyed the most, Mandy had this to say, “I enjoy finding the right person for the job, the Talent Management module has further helped me to identify the most suitable candidate for a role”.
More about Mandy’s course…The MSc in Human Resource Management is a part-time course which fulfils the professional learning, training and development needs of those who are in the early part of their career in human resource management, training and development or employee relations. It is also a means by which experienced HR or line managers can update their knowledge and understanding of best practice people management and anchor their experience within a theoretical context. The course provides the necessary knowledge and understanding for students to be awarded professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) at associate, chartered or chartered fellow levels when they graduate.
Siobhàn Herbert, Head of Human Resources at Care Circle Group congratulated Mandy on all her hard work, “Well done on your exam success. Mandy joined the Care Circle Group Human Resources Department in February 2015 and has proved to be a very valued member of the HR team."
