Residents at a Sanctuary Care home in Pershore are inviting the public to join them when they swap Station Road for sunny Spain during their virtual summer cruise evening.
Next Thursday (27 July), between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, Heathlands Residential Care Home in Station Road will be throwing open the doors for their themed evening where there will be traditional cuisine, flag making and live guitar music from the country for everyone to enjoy.
The event forms part of the home’s ‘summer cruise’ week, where residents will sample the cultures of a different country every day.
During the week they will be transported to destinations like Italy, France and India, sampling food from their chosen places and taking part in themed activities.
The home’s activities leader Natasha Craddock said: “This is the first time that we have held a virtual summer cruise at Heathlands and we are really looking forward to welcoming people from the local community along to ‘travel’ with us.” Please phone the home to book your place.
