Residents take a look around the Zoology Museum in Aberdeen

Residents at Laurels Lodge Care Home in Woodside regularly enjoy trips out to various different places in Aberdeen. Recently they went on a day trip to the Zoology Museum at Aberdeen University.

Sheila Gesma, Home Manager, said: “The resident s really enjoyed themselves and were fascinated with all of the animals on display. Betty loved the furry animals, butterflies and sea shells. Jim sat in awe was amazed at the sizes of the dinosaurs.”

Jim used to work at the Aberdeen Art Gallery. He said “I really enjoyed my trip to the museum; I never thought you would find a place like that in Aberdeen. It was amazing, I would definitely go back.”
