Tallington Lodge Care Home declared officially open

Tallington Lodge Care Home, the latest home to be built by Country Court Care, was declared officially open by Mayor of Stamford, Cllr Tony Story on Friday 18th August 2017. Country Court Care welcomed guests to the brand new luxury care home where they enjoyed a tour of the care home, speeches and refreshments. The luxury care home on Main Road, Tallington, near Stamford in Lincolnshire is 30 bed Care Home offering the highest standards of residential and dementia care.

“We were delighted to welcome so many people from the local community as well as local health care professionals to come and celebrate the opening of Tallington Lodge” said Country Court Care Managing Director, Alykhan Kachra, he added “We are very proud to have created a beautiful building that our residents can call home and where we will provide a dedicated team of professionals who will deliver outstanding levels of care and understanding”

Tallington Lodge is built from traditional stone, whilst incorporating state of the art design and functionality enabling staff to deliver the highest standards of personalised care. The care home’s interior décor draws on the local area for inspiration; The Welland Suite on the ground floor, named after the local River Welland, features tastefully designed sitting and dining areas for residents to enjoy. The superior ground floor en-suite bedrooms feature patio style doors opening directly out onto their own seating area enabling residents to enjoy the garden. Residents will also be able to make use of the ‘boat house’, a beautiful outdoor sitting area decorated with a nautical theme.

Phase two of the project will see the redevelopment and full refurbishment of the existing Tallington Care Home, this will include the partial demolition of the existing building to make way for a new sympathetically designed two storey front extension. Due to open at the end of 2018, Phase 2 of the project will provide additional en-suite bedrooms, larger day spaces and new staff facilities.

This new build project is the latest Care Home to join the Country Court Care group, a national, award-winning provider of residential, dementia and nursing care.
