Consett care home residents enjoy visit to Derwent Manor Hotel

Residents from HC-One’s Greenways Court care home in Consett enjoyed a visit to the Derwent Manor Hotel.

The trip to Derwent Manor Hotel was extra special for one Resident, Mac, who actually built the manor and lived on the grounds for many years, he still has family that are living there so it was very nice to be back in the place he used to call home. 

A great time was had by all, everyone commented on how beautiful the setting was and Mac was delighted to be back at Derwent Manor once again. 

Greenways Court Home Manager, Kinga Kowaliczek said: “I am so pleased that everyone had a lovely time at Derwent Manor Hotel, the smiles on their faces really said it all.”
