Barton Brook’s Burns Night comedy day

On 25th January, Barton Brook residential, nursing and residential memory care home, in Eccles, celebrated Burns Night.

Colleagues and Residents talked about Robert Burns and poetry in general, including past and present comedians.

One of the wellbeing Colleagues dressed up as a traditional Scotsman, and acted in a funny and comedic way, which made the Residents laugh.

Then Residents settled down to watch Billy Connelly and Peter Kay whilst having a wee tipple of Baileys.

Michelle Labador, Care Home Manager, remarked, “The afternoon was a delight and it sure was great to see the Residents enjoying themselves.”
