A wonderful pamper session at Queens Oak Care Home

The people living at Queens Oak Care Home in London enjoy a good pamper, so the team like to make sure they host fun and relaxing pamper sessions every few weeks!

The residents recently enjoyed having their feet and nails done, followed by a relaxing hand massage. Everyone really enjoyed the experience, getting to pick their nail colours and sit back as the team painted them neatly.

Not only was this pampering session incredibly soothing, but the hand massages also help improve blood flow and encourage one to one interaction with everyone living in the homes.

The team members enjoyed having a nice chat with the residents while they pampered them, applying sensory oils during the hand massages. Everyone was incredibly grateful for the manicures and pedicures and enjoyed showing off their beautiful nails afterwards!

The team and the people living at the home were treated to post-pamper refreshments straight after and enjoyed them as they sat and chatted as a group.

It was a wonderful, inclusive activity that left everyone feeling very calm and treated. The team loved seeing so many people getting involved and can’t wait for the home’s next pamper session.
