Bexhill-on-Sea’s Grosvenor Park, which provides residential and nursing care, have been celebrating the Queen's Jubilee with their very own ‘street party’ this month.
Residents thoroughly enjoyed their party which saw the home filled with decorations on the 5th of June making the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Colleagues had worked extremely hard to get the home in order for the celebrations, they had decorated the dining hall and the catering staff also put on an amazing spread of food for Residents to enjoy.
During the afternoon, local entertainer Stephen Dunnett sang a variety of well-known songs for everyone to listen and enjoy. Many of the Residents were singing along and dancing to his music.
Residents commented afterwards and were most complimentary and generous with their praises to the Colleagues who helped make it special. Many said it was one of the best celebrations they have had for awhile!
Jackie, the Home Manager, commented, “What wonderful celebrations we had here at Grosvenor Park, huge thank you to all our Colleagues who helped make this so special for our Residents”.
