Elvis Presley comes to Balsall Common!

Last weekend Elvis Presley came to Harper fields care home in Balsall Common.

Sharon McKintosh, the Activities Coordinator, said "The crowd roared, the ladies swooned as Elvis tribute act Memphis Mike shook, rattled and rolled his way through an abundance of ‘The Kings’ songs.

"What do we do at Harper fields when The King enters the building? We get the Champagne out! Michael Doherty aka 'Memphismike', you were superb. Even when our residents were shouting out requests, you didn’t let them down.

"We’ve never heard so many requests and sing-a-long's before.

"You made our afternoon magical. Thank you so much."
