NAPA conference and friends reunited!

Earlier this week, we were delighted to welcome to Bere Grove Orquidea Tamayo Mortera - MNZM, the President for the New Zealand Society of Diversional and Recreational Therapists.

Orquidea Tamayo Mortera - MNZM who is a dear friend of Bere Groves general manager, Diana Okeme, and a colleague she worked with whilst living in New Zealand a few years ago. Orquidea was a key note speaker at the NAPA National Activity Providers Association conference in Birmingham, UK.

Bere Grove’s Life enrichment coordinator Hollie Wren attended the NAPA conference and has come back to Bere Grove with lots of new ideas and great initiatives. Hollie said, "It was a wonderful day spent learning, listening and understanding different ways of reaching success within life enrichment.

"The NAPA National Activity Providers Association are dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals by championing the importance of activity, engagement and overall wellbeing.

"This is exactly what myself and the amazing team at Bere Grove are committed and dedicated to doing and we are excited to see how the new initiatives will further enrich the lives of residents at Barchester Healthcare Bere Grove Care Home."
