Care home residents celebrate World Photography Day

Our Gardening Club this morning surrounded the theme of photography.

Our Nursing Community were all given the opportunity to take photos of flowers within their rooms, many of whom had said that they used to enjoy taking family photos on holidays and hadn’t picked up a camera for years.

We went beyond our courtyards into our grounds and enjoyed group based walks and took a few flower photos too, most importantly was just being out in a social setting, taking in the fresh air, exercise and our beautiful surroundings.

Staff and family joined for this too, making it an even more wonderful experience. This afternoon we will be keeping to the theme of photography, exploring famous photographers and completing photography and cinematography activity books.
