Residents of Westwood Enjoy a Warm Welcome at B&Q Worksop

Residents and team members from Westwood Care Home, part of the Runwood Homes Group, were delighted to be invited by the B&Q Distribution Centre in Worksop for an afternoon of pie, peas and Bingo on Wednesday 23rd April. The visit was organised as part of the ongoing community partnership between Westwood and B&Q. Previously, B&Q have visited Westwood for a coffee morning. The latest gathering offered another wonderful opportunity to strengthen those connections, bringing together Westwood residents, staff, and B&Q employees in a warm and welcoming environment. The atmosphere throughout the event was filled with laughter, fun, and games, with many residents thoroughly enjoying conversations with new and familiar faces alike. The highlight for many was simply seeing residents engaging confidently with others, embracing the moment, and creating cherished memories. The afternoon was a testament to the power of community, and Westwood looks forward to more opportunities to connect, collaborate, and celebrate with local partners like B&Q.
