Hillview Court welcomes back their furry friends

Hillview Court Nursing Home in Sauchie recently enjoyed a special visit from their friends at Lunar Eclipse, a non-profit pet therapy group that brings comfort and connection to communities across the region.

Residents were thrilled to meet Marina and Eeyore – two gentle young therapy horses who were led around the home to greet everyone. Residents were overjoyed to meet their new four-legged friends, stroke their soft coats, feed them carrots, and even share a few smooches!

As well as bringing joy to the Hillview Court community, the visit was also a valuable training experience for Marina and Eeyore, who are just starting out in their roles as therapy animals. It was a chance for them to build confidence in a supportive and caring environment.

Everyone was in agreement that the young duo did a fantastic job! Thank you to Marina, Eeyore, and the wonderful team at Lunar Eclipse – your visits mean a lot, and everyone’s already looking forward to your next visit!
