2025 WAGS Awards!

We’re excited to share that Southcare Homes Group’s founder, Mrs. Zeenat Nanji, has been named a finalist in the 2025 WAGS Awards! She’s been shortlisted for the Lifetime Achievement Award (Residential), an incredible recognition of her decades of dedication.

The WAGS Awards (Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care) celebrate the hardworking women who make up over 85% of the social care workforce. These awards shine a light on those who go above and beyond, often balancing demanding work with family life.

So why is Zeenat so deserving of this honour?

With more than 50 years in the care sector, Zeenat’s journey began at Charing Cross Hospital and continued through a rewarding career as a midwife. In 1986, she moved into health and social care, where she has dedicated her life to supporting and empowering the elderly.
