Knowle Park care home, in Cranleigh, Surrey, was shortlisted for the best kept garden title at the Caring Homes Group Recognition Awards.
With more than 5,500 employees across the group and more than 140 homes and services Knowle Park beat off stiff competition to be shortlisted for the Best Kept Garden of the Year award.
The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony hosted at the Grove Hotel in Watford and presented by musician and singer Ronan Keating.
Following a review of over 3,000 nominations received from colleagues and people supported for the awards, Knowle Park was nominated for its garden.
Knowle Park care home in Cranleigh, Surrey provides excellent residential, dementia and nursing care for up to 46 elderly people. It was rated Good in the latest CQC inspection which took place in February.
The judges shared the views of one nomination which stated; “The gardens at Knowle Park are vast and tended to with total dedication by the team. The gardens here are used as often by possible by residents and relatives, regardless of the season.”
Attended by over 340 guests the evening was a great occasion, with colleagues and business partners coming together to celebrate the very best care and support provided by outstanding people.
