Residents at Cargenholm House Care Centre in Dumfries will be enjoying a Burns Night celebration on January 24.
Friends and family members of residents are also invited to enjoy the Scottish-themed party, which will celebrate the life of Scottish poet Robert Burns. There will be a traditional Burns Night supper of Scotch broth and haggis with neeps and tatties, which will be piped in by a piper, followed by trifle for dessert.
Cargenholm House Care Centre provides nursing and residential care for up to 58 people. Care is provided for older people who have dementia.
Lesley McLean, Manager at Cargenholm House, said: “The residents are really looking forward to the Burns Night party. At Cargenholm House we endeavour to offer residents a range of activities and this will be a fun celebration for everyone to enjoy.”
