Our widowed father initially tested living at the Reigate Beaumont by staying for a 2-week respite break in Feb 22, aged 92. Together, we wanted to research whether he should move in permanently, or stay in his own house with carers coming to him. He extended these respite breaks 3 times, then he
decided to become a permanent resident in April 22. What persuaded him was the caring & attentive attitude of all the staff, the excellent food & dining rooms, the great indoor/outdoor activities including musicians & singers that he loved, and the huge, beautiful park-like garden maintained to an excellent standard. Being out in the garden gave him great joy, as did the spectacular cakes on his birthdays. Our deepest gratitude goes to all the staff who cared for Dad until he died in Dec 25, aged 96. Each moment that you dedicated to him, we know was spent lovingly, thoughtfully & with humour. You all exemplified the values & decency that he held dear. Thank you for every day and forever more.

Reigate Beaumont is an absolutely wonderful care home. We couldn't have wanted more for our mother. The rooms were of the highest standard with lovely views. It's beautiful inside and out and the staff are so kind and caring. We knew our mother was always being so well cared for. Our expectations
were totally exceeded. We are very grateful to all the staff for the extremely high level of care they consistently provide residents. Thank you x

The Beaumont is a beautiful home. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The food is lovely too so all in all a perfect place for the people lucky enough to be staying here. Also when mum first came in I used to walk her outside in her wheelchair. The grounds are beautiful and she really enjoyed it.
I will recommend it to everyone looking for a care home. Thank you all so much. Val.

Reigate Beaumont is simply stunning! From our initial tour & interaction through to my mum becoming a resident, the setting is beautiful, the room is of the highest standard but above all of this are the staff.
The level of attention, interaction & care for my mum is outstanding! Nothing is too
much trouble and each member of staff go above & beyond. My expectations have been exceeded. Thankyou Reigate Beaumont xx.

My mother has been a resident here for just over 7 years and is very happy. The staff are always smiling and engaging with residents and their families and nothing is too much trouble for them. Unfortunately my mother is wheelchair/bed bound and is unable to speak but recently someone visited her
for the first time (in a professional capacity) and expressed to me how wonderful it was to see the carers interacting and laughing with mum. The home has a wide range of activities catering for all needs, the musical visits are a huge hit. The food is amazing which mum always enjoys. I am so grateful to all the staff for the loving care and assistance they give mum and I highly recommend this home.

Having selected the ratings I feel you must have a pretty good idea of my feelings with my regard to my recent stay, at Reigate Beaumont
I was not happy with the size of my bedroom and thought the personal washing facilities area was no more than a small cupboard.
My stay was a two week respite
only and I intend to look further afield.

Knowing that my father is in capable and kind hands is such a relief to us all. The staff are caring, attentive, and go out of their way to make my dad feel valued, comfortable and at home. They have shown both compassion and respect for my father and the utmost kindness to my brother and me. A
huge thank you to everyone at Reigate Beaumont. We appreciate everything you have done and everything you are doing for my father.

My mum is a new resident in the care home, she was a little confused in the first week of her stay because it was all new for her. Now it's her 3rd week and she has settled very well. The carers who looks after mum are super friendly and professional. They all treat mum with respect and kindness. At
the start mum was hesitant to join the activities but with the carers and staff encouragement she is now happy to join in. I feel comfortable when I leave mum after visiting her knowing that she will be secure and well looked after. A big thank you to all from the manager, nurses, carers and all staff.

My mother has been at Barchester Reigate Beaumont for ten years. I have nothing but praise for her care. Each member of staff has been wonderful; the management, personal carers, nurses, cleaners and activity organisers. The chefs and kitchen staff produce the most delicious food. The personal care
Mum receives from her carers is excellent, especially given her age and disability.
The staff are always very welcoming to all our family and even our dogs!
It is a pleasure to visit Mum and a great comfort that she is looked after so well.

As a retired nurse, I'm very impressed with the personal care at the Beaumont. The lady I visit has been at the Beaumont for many years and over Christmas this year I was very conscious of the staff going the extra mile to help residents not only look their best but to feel part of the celebrations
despite being so handicapped. The staff are very polite and kind, the food is excellent.

I have no hesitation in recommending Barchester Reigate Beaumont to anyone who requires first-class professional care in an effective care environment. My mother has been a resident for over ten years and through those years, including, of course, the pandemic, we have been relieved and delighted at
the care she has received. Headed by a strong management team, the care and nursing staff alongside all the support staff are professional, welcoming and always ready to accommodate all her needs as well as the family's. As we prepare to celebrate a big birthday, the entire team has been brilliant in coming together to ensure a happy and memorable day. The home has first-class facilities, set in beautiful and extensive gardens, an excellent and varied selection of delicious food and a comprehensive daily activities programme.

Mum has been a resident at Barchester Reigate Beaumont for two years now following an initial period of respite care. The whole team at Beaumont are caring and compassionate and they go out of their way to make sure Mum is settled and happy. The activities programme offers plenty of stimulation and
interesting things to do and equally, if Mum doesn't fancy joining in and just wants a quiet day in her room watching TV, the carers are sure to check on her regularly to make sure she is okay. The food is great with plenty of choice and the gardens are lovely. The carers and nursing team are professional, diligent and kind. The home has exceeded our expectations in every way. Can not recommend it highly enough.

My dad was initially staying for respite care but had a terminal diagnosis at the beginning of his stay.
He sadly passed away six weeks later. Barchester Reigate Beaumont staff were excellent, very compassionate and understanding of our situation.
We spent a lot of time with Dad but never worried
when we weren't there as we knew the staff were checking on him and would help with all his needs.
The room Dad had was lovely, although if he had been more mobile, the bathroom would have been a problem as it was so small.
At the beginning of his stay, Dad was having a normal diet. The food was excellent.
As Dad's condition deteriorated, the staff made sure that his menu changed, soft food and getting him drinks and food when he fancied, it was never a problem.
Although Dad was not well enough to take part, we were impressed by the activity list that the residents received each week.
The support we were given by the staff in Dad's final days was excellent, they were very caring and supportive.

Mum struggled with the idea of losing her independence and it did take a while. She had a lovely room overlooking the park-like grounds which she enjoyed enormously. I think if Mum had arrived earlier she would have had a lot of happy hours out on the beautiful terrace and no doubt thrown herself
into the many activities going on. At the end of her days, she was looked after with so much care, it was amazing. The staff were kind and the doctor was a regular visitor - it was all very peaceful and dignified - I will always be grateful for this.

The staff at the Beaumont were superb at caring for my father in his last couple of months. The medical and nursing staff were very attentive to his physical and mental needs and ensured he was very comfortable during his last few days.

The home has always been excellent, with great carers and nursing staff. Last week it was my wife's birthday and despite her mobility and communication difficulties the staff gave her a lovely cake, which we the relatives also enjoyed and we had a small party which she very much enjoyed.
I can
certainly recommend Reigate Beaumont as an excellent nursing home.

Absolutely in awe of all the staff here. Acting as my aunt's LPA, residential care was new to me. Reigate Beaumont has not only physically cared for my aunt during the last 6 months, but they’ve also supported me on the difficult journey of being responsible for a mentally competent, elderly
relative who is no longer physically able to look after herself. Similarly, the whole team have been incredibly kind, patient and understanding as my aunt, who is strongly resistant to being in care and to change, (slowly and very grumpily!) adjusts to a new way of living so late in life.
I haven’t rated activities as currently, my aunt won’t participate in the lots on offer.
Likewise, I’ve not rated value for money as I have no previous comparisons but I have no complaints and feel my aunt's continuing care here is money very well spent.
