We visit whenever we can and have always found the staff to be brilliant with the residents. We (wife and myself) visit my best man (1962) who has dementia and wants for nothing. In himself he is extremely well, just his perception has gone but the staff recognise this and cater fully for his needs.
Cannot comment on a few of the options as have no experience of them but very happy to recommend

We feel very welcome when we come to Beech House and are always included in whats going on. The lovely staff create a happy atmosphere and take good regard of everyones needs. Mum has said herself how good and caring the people are here.

My extremely frail stepmother moved into Beech House in August 2024. On admission a full GP health assessment considered her life expectancy to be weeks rather than months. Then a new regime started which triggered her amazing recovery. Over the first weeks instead of weakening she gained strength
(probably due to discovering very tasty food, which in itself was a reason for her not giving in!) I cannot praise enough the care that followed over the whole period of her tenure. Even when dementia demons made her difficult I was assured that she would still be welcome to stay through to the end of her life, which was a tremendous relief to us all. She died in December 2025 in her bed, peacefully with family alongside, over 16 months after the initial 3 week prognosis. Beech House is a wonderful place. The whole team, led by the Manager alongside the incredible nursing staff can all be trusted to give fantastic care to your loved one, even to the end of their life.

Beech House, thoroughly, deserves its 'outstanding' CQC rating. I cannot speak highly enough of the care provided to my wife over the past two years and how the care staff have managed my wifes decline.
The care staff are a valuable asset to the successful management of the facility which is
maintained to a very high standard. I doubt you could find a better place to entrust loved ones for care.

My Dad received palitative care in September and my Mum was a resident from mid October to the end of November. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help, once again you pulled all the stops out to get mum into the home after and then moved to the ground floor.
You made the last few
weeks of her life a happy and lovely experience.
Secondly I must commend your whole team - carers, nurses, chefs, laundry team, physio, maintenance team, receptionist, helpers etc what a team caring, emphatic, knowledgable and professionally competent. Words cannot express how reassured we were that mum was in your care.
When she was taken ill, the nursing team were phenomenal. The paramedic did comment to me how good the night nurse was.
The nursing team, on Friday, were so amazing. They ensured Mum was not only medically supported, they showed care and love in the way they treated Mum. The whole team are amazing and the level of care shown to both my parents was the best you could ever wish.

I visit my wife each day, I was conserned how she would find being a patient in a care home after being sixty plus year in are own home. But due to her illness she requires constant attension, We were pleasantley surprised in the clenleness and tidyness, the care my wife received, all the staff were
so careing, helpfull, constantley checking and asking if there was anything needed or required, my wife has quickly settle in, with what time she has left.

Beech House is like a 5 start hotel, the carers are very kind, caring and always friendly. The food is excellent and the Chef will make you something different from the menu, if there's something on the weekly menu that you cannot eat, I went in for 2 weeks respite after a total knee replacement,
and came out fully rested and walking the home on my walker. I have nothing but praise for everyone in Beech House made me feel at home, and I was sorry to leave after my 2 weeks were up. Thank you Beech House.

All the team at Beech are fantastic I cannot rate them enough, my father in law had only been with them since 22nd May but what a change in him , we as a family found it hard to say we could not meet his needs at home anymore but after a few weeks in hospital we found a place at Beech House for him
he has had put on weight is participating in the daily activities so lovely for us to see he also loves the food nothing is too much trouble for the team .At the same time his wife was also in hospital and at end of life again without issue they got a bed for her too this means he can see her daily before she passes and also we can see them both together and as they have been married nearly 65 Years this means so much to us all and as a family makes our journey smoother.
We know soon we will loose her but we know she will be cared loved and looked with dignity till sadly she leaves us .
The support the team have given us as a family is very special cannot thank them enough

Dad stayed at Beech House for 6 weeks respite following a serious fall. We felt nursing care would be beneficial for his recovery. We have been blown away by the care, love, professionalism and compassion shown by all staff. Dad said he felt he was part of a big caring family and this was just what
he needed. He is now considering permanent care based on his experience and we couldn't be happier that the decision will be his.

My Mum went into Beech House with a diagnosis of frontal temporal dementia last July (2023). The manager & staff were all very kind and welcoming and Mum settled in straight away. She died in March 2025, having had a settled, calm but fun time. The staff encouraged her to join in all the activities
(every day there is something if the residents wish) & showed immense care as her health declined suddenly. The staff could not have been better or more supportive to both us and my Mum.

Dad was so well cared for and all his complex needs were considered. The staff were so kind, and thoughtful and knew Dad so well. He always said how good it was in Beech House and we know he felt safe, secure and content there. He really enjoyed the activities and exercises. A huge thankyou to all
the staff.

always paramount.

Mum has been a resident in Beech House Care Home since March 2024. Since living there, her health has improved dramatically due to the care and attention she receives. The management and staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble, they treat Mum with respect and kindness and are patient with
all residents. The activities are fantastic and Mum enjoys a great social life and interactions with others. Thank you Beech House for everything you do for my mum. The food is excellent!

My aunt went to Beech House Care Home in October 2023. She spent over a year being brilliantly cared for by the patient, friendly and very caring staff up until her passing at the end of November. She loved the companionship of the staff and residents and thoroughly enjoyed not only the food but the
many activities the home provided. We, as a family, cannot speak highly enough of the care she received.

The home is always kept clean and tidy. The staff are helpful, welcoming and friendly. Mum enjoys the quality and variety of meals and snacks provided. There is a wide range of activities offered in the home and interesting day trips. Mum settled in quickly and is made to feel a part of Beech House
Care Home. The home is tastefully decorated and well-maintained, the gardens are beautifully kept and a lovely place to be on a dry day.

My experience of Beech House Care Home and all associated with it, in whatever capacity, has been excellent and I can not thank them enough for the care and attention they have provided for my terminally ill and frightened elderly mother. Thank you.
24 April 2024
My wife has been at Beech House Care Home for almost 5 months and has received good care and treatment and there is no reason for me (or her) to complain. It is a cheerful and well-run home with considerate staff. As a happy visitor, I am given certain latitude (coffee/biscuits, watching TV). As for
'value for money' I hope prices do not increase this year.
17 April 2024
I have recently returned to Beech House to visit my neighbour who is now a resident. My parents were residents from 2014 until Dad passed away in 2021.

the home is immaculately clean and cosy.
A recent change in management has restored the warm family atmosphere that my parents enjoyed.
