Mum moved into the care home in September 2025 was well looked after by the staff who catered for all her needs.
All Staff were friendly and approachable and supported us when needed. They helped us to make Mums move into the home less anxious, helping her to settle in.

I cannot praise St Edith court enough - my mum stayed with them for respite for 3 months whilst repairs were being done at her house following a leak. She was treated with respect, dignity and cared for 24/7. The home is welcoming and spotlessly clean, it really is a home from home. All the staff
were friendly and professional and went over and above to meet my mums needs, even picking her recliner chair up from her house and returning when she went home. Thank you for all you did for my mum.

My mother has been at St Edith's for just over 2.5 years. We chose St Edith's as it is a small friendly home with the advantage of a huge garden.
The staff are compassionate, caring and sensitive to the residents needs. My mother was recently admitted to hospital and returned to the home in a very
frail state. The staff have nursed her back to health and she is back to her old self.
The home has had some recent management issues but this has now been resolved. I am confident that my mother is safe and well looked after.

St Edith's Court is a beautiful care home and has a great reputation in the local area. Over the past couple of months, I have seen significant changes for the better, since the new Home Manager has been in post. As soon as you walk through the door, you can feel warmth from everyone. The staff
have always been caring but there now seems to be a "buzz" within the team and they are happier and have more morale. The environment has changed for the better and all residents seem happy and engagement has really improved. St Edith's is a very special place, with a team that truly give fabulous care. The Management Team are so supportive and professional. Carry on doing what you are doing, St Edith's! Lovely care home.

My mum has really thrived since having in and has made a real recovery as she came here from hospital. It is great to see her happy and laughing again. The care here is excellent, very caring and friendly with lots of activities. Excellent!

St Edith is not only a care home, it is a safe haven. There is support, compassion, professionalism, respectfulness, understanding and sensitivity towards the residents, as well as the focus on residents overall well being. There are activities for the resident throughout the week, the garden is
beautiful and a pleasure to walk around. I have visited many homes in the past and St Edith by far, comes out the best. So, thank you all at St Edith for everything you do for my aunt.

My mother has been at St Edith's Court for 6 weeks and is loving it. The staff have made her very welcome and are always happy to help, answer questions and ensure my mums stay is happy, safe and enjoyable. She really enjoys the daily entertainment and likes the food choices. The room is comfortable
with nice view and she loves going out into the garden.

From the moment I entered St Edith's Court, I have been impressed. The friendliness and attentiveness of the staff is wonderful and the environment is clean, bright and welcoming. The facilities are excellent and the residents rooms are spacious and airy. The bathroom and kitchen allow my mother a
degree of independence she did not have at home and are good sizes. I am very grateful that my mother has a place at St Edith's Court. It's our first experience of a care home and we couldn't be happier with the lovely staff and care she receives.

My mother has been at st Edith's for nearly two years, she arrived with mobility problems but very alert. She has deteriorated and now has palliative care. Throughout her stay the staff have been amazing, so dedicated and caring especially now that she is a more difficult resident. My wife and I
have recommended St Edith's to numerous friends and acquaintances.

Unfortunately due to Anchors policies I cannot detail just how badly my mother was let down during her stay here .I can only say that due to many safeguarding issues I would not recommend this home to any person looking for a safe ,well managed care home for their loved one.I do wonder how long my
review will be left up by Anchor who ,welcome feedback !!!!!!

My mum moved in last year ,and the home seemed lovely ,very clean and her room was nice
We were promised that there would be activities on a regular basis and she would be included and welcomed and made to feel safe and part of the home
Sadly this wasn't the case ,the management is extremely
poor ,there is no communication ,no documentation when concerns were raised by us they were not investigated and we even got laughed at
After several safeguards have been raised and complaints expressed still they can not answer our questions so we have had to move her which has been hard for her and ourselves
I would not recommend this home to anyone and feel sorry for the residents that remain there if they are being treated in the same way as my mum

My father in law was in St Edith's Leigh on sea from October 2024 to the 10th of March 2025. The care he received was wonderful.
He sadly passed away in hospital after being taken there by ambulance from the home.
We cleared out his room completely within 36 hours of him leaving the room.
So
the room was available to Anchor to re let by the 12th of March.
We asked for the balance of the March fee (around £3300) to be refunded on the 13th of March.
After reminding the local administrator at the home several times we are still waiting for the monies to be refunded, she assured me that the head office would refund the monies as she was unable to actually forward the funds.
It's now April 11th and no refund has been made. I have phoned the head office and they were adamant that the local home is responsible for the refund. The local home assured me that the refunds come from the HQ.
Long story short. I need the £3,300 to help pay for funeral expenses.
Still waiting a month later.

I have found St Edith's to have a warm, friendly happy and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are kind, caring considerate and patient. Management are willing to act, assist and most important, listen. As Mum is still settling in. She hasn't attended activities yet but we hope she will soon, so I cannot
comment on those. I hear laughter and see happy faces in here and it does feel like Mum's home - warm and cosy.

My father enter St Edith's in the respite room after a months stay in hospital after getting stuck in bath. Prior to this he was completely independent at 92 years old. Finding that he now needs assistance with daily tasks has been a shock for him as well as us. The staff who have cared for him have
been wonderful and treated him with respect and dignity. We have now got him there full time in a room of his own and he seems to be slowly settling in. St Edith's came highly recommended by several friends who had relatives there in the past and it has not disappeared.

The overall atmosphere in the home is excellent. The staff are professional, friendly and welcoming. Catering arrangements and cleanliness are first class. Decoration standards are very good and make the home bright and welcoming.

I am so happy that I found this little gem of a care home. It truly is a caring home from home. I was so worried about using a respite home for my mother-in-law and the staff were so welcoming and reassuring. We had a wonderful initial visit and met residents who were very obviously happy and
comfortable and content. My mother-in-law spent a very happy week with caring staff that couldn't do enough for her and even checked her throughout the nights bringing her tea if she wanted it. She loved the food too! The diamonds in St Edith's are the amazing staff; forever cheerful, helpful, loving and caring, working so hard to ensure the happiness and well-being of the residents. She even joined in with social activities and came home looking like a glamour girl after having her hair done there! Thank you so much to everyone. We appreciate you all.

As soon as you walk through the door of St Edith's Court it feels very welcoming and homely, the staff are very friendly and will always answer any questions, the rooms have excellent facilities with en suite bathrooms and fitted kitchens... Mum has only been here a short while but loves her room
and the fact she gets a choice of foods... she feels safe knowing staff are around all the time. I feel quite happy that Mum is living here ... and that she is receiving excellent care.

My husband has been a resident at St Edith's since April last year. He had a significant stroke in 2020. It was such a difficult decision for him to move to care but we realised I couldn't cope at home any longer.
I feel so lucky to have found St Edith's, I visited many other local care homes.
None compared regarding the accommodation. Each resident has their own bedroom/living space plus an en-suite bathroom and kitchen.
More importantly, there is a calm friendly atmosphere with caring staff in every role. Food is good to boot!
St Edith's appears well managed, responsive to needs and they go above and beyond the basics to mark events as they crop up during the year.
I know he is safe and well cared for and we now have the opportunity to spend quality time together again. Thanks.

Our Mum moved to St Edith's in March, it was a painful realisation for both her and us that she was now in need of full-time care, however, since her arrival, she has received amazing care from the whole team at St Edith's and we are grateful for all that each person does. Our Mum is still
struggling with her change of circumstances but the care and attention and good food that she is getting are helping both her and us, we all sleep better at night knowing that she is not alone and she knows too that she is being looked after and at the same time, keeps a level of independence - for example, it is always her decision as to when and what she eats, and when she goes to bed etc. It is amazing the work that each member of staff does and when I visit my Mum or when I speak to her on the phone, I know that each person she interacts with does so with professionalism, good grace and good humour.

We knew Mum was struggling to live at home on her own but felt very nervous about mentioning a care home to her. When a room became available, we brought her to St Edith's to have a look around and she was completely sold on it! Everyone you bump into around the home is so kind, supportive and
really caring. It's clear that all employees are happy and that makes the fantastic atmosphere. Mum immediately joined in the activities and spends time in the lounge with other residents. I really needn't have worried - St Edith's Court is an amazing place and we are lucky to have our Mum looked after there.
