We at Aspen Court appreciate feedback as it helps us to achieve our consistently GOOD service level (CQC).
In response to your review, I as a manager have a duty of care to protect our residents and provide a safe working environment for staff.
First and foremost residents must be able to go about their day-to-day lives in the knowledge that they are safe and protected whilst in our care.
Our staff are trained to act in the best interests of our residents, which involves fostering close working relationships with families and friends and we do our utmost to accommodate any requests.
But requests and behaviours should not infringe, disadvantage or upset our service users as if we were to allow this, it would be morally wrong and in breach of the CQC regulations.
Our staff, just as NHS staff, also have the right to come to work and carry out their duties in line with the best interests of service users and without having to endure the unreasonable behaviour of others.
