Dear Pauline, having spoken with you in detail beforehand about these issues, I am sorry that you still have concerns. As you know, your husband came to us from the hospice for end-of-life care. Our electronic records show he was regularly attended to, his buzzer answered and his water jugs continually refilled. Due to the heatwave staff took actions to keep the room cool for his comfort. His medication was prescribed by the doctor when needed, rather than on a regular basis. When his visitor arrived at 8pm, he was deeply asleep, not unconscious. On his final day, he received his medication and did not experience any negative reactions to it. He was at the end stage of his illness and we are truly very sorry for your loss. If you wish to raise a complaint, you can write directly to me and your issues will be investigated thoroughly.
