I was disappointed to read your review and I am sorry you have had a negative experience with our home. We take pride in the care and support we provide to residents and aim to keep a clean, comfortable and pleasant place to live.
I would also like to reassure you that we take cleanliness very seriously. Audits are in place to monitor all aspects of our home including standards of sanitation. Our housekeeping team clean rooms daily so it is disappointing it was not the case for your mother. Since your mother left the home in July, we have had a change in management at the home, with myself joining as Home Manager, and an extensive programme of refurbishments has commenced. Recruitment within social care is challenging, at times we have no alternative but to use agency staff to ensure the correct level of care is given to all our residents.
