We are sorry that your experience at Haviland House was not as positive as we would have hoped. We take the well-being of our residents, their families and our staff extremely seriously.

Unfortunately, there are times when a person's circumstances change, and they can no longer be safely cared for in a particular setting. In this instance, we identified that your mum required treatment in an acute hospital setting, as her needs could not be met at the home. This is extremely rare, but the decision was taken in the best interests of your mum, other residents and staff.

A full and comprehensive internal and independent review has been conducted and the outcomes of these have been provided to you separately.
