We are sorry that you feel your overall experience at Woodland was not good. When a resident comes to Woodland we have a strict policy in place with regard to resident possessions that we hold. An itinerary is completed which is signed by the home manager and counter-signed by the resident themselves, or their representative, in this case, it was your mother's social worker and independent advocate. The resident’s representative keeps a copy for their own records. For your mother, our records clearly show that items held by us did not include any of the items you have mentioned as missing. As per your recent discussions with our staff at Woodland, the majority of your mother's possessions are still at the home uncollected. As we were not responsible for safekeeping these particular possessions, it is not appropriate for us to go through them, they are very personal. The missing items may be among these, we advise you to collect the belongings to check in the first instance.
