We are aware of the visit you have referred to and have looked into this.<br>For your reassurance there are protocols around visitation for a number of residents when people are visiting to ensure they are safe, and the visit is a positive one for all parties which from your review were not fully explained and this is an area we have reviewed.<br>We also ask that visitors respect that they are in another person's home and when using a phone notify the senior on duty to ensure we protect all person's privacy at all times, we do encourage the use of technology for video calls/phone calls etc but would provide a private area for this to happen again to ensure this is a positive experience for all parties and others living in Woodcroft were able to continue to enjoy their space.<br>We are sorry you felt your visit was not a positive one as we have many daily positive visits and interactions with family and friends of many of the residents at Woodcroft care home.
