Thank you! This is July’s star review as it gives us an opportunity to look at our service from a different perspective. Changing the heights of the windows in some rooms has been explored. It is far more complicated than we thought! We do have challenges with increased personal devices, we’ll look into this.<br>Eshcol House has seven layers of fire safety: prevention, detection, early suppression, evacuation, compartmentation, structural safety and fire fighting. We have our own Consultant Fire Safety Officer and we also have external fire safety audits annually. Cornwall Fire Brigade have up to date blue prints of Eshcol House in case of emergency. A Cornwall Council Fire Safety Officer audited us in May of this year and said we were compliant. Every resident has a 'personal emergency evacuation plan'. Every floor has multiple fire exits. We have very specific strategies, which I would be very happy to discuss with you.
