The Decision to apply for planning permission was made during covid as a precautionary measure as many care homes were closing down. The process of attaining planning permission is a timely procedure which is why it has only come to light recently. There is no intention to close Westbourne and we continue to invest heavily back into the Home. <br>We have never been dishonest and have alleviated any fears of closure that staff and residents may have initially had.
