Also emphasising that the claim of neglectful care is strongly contested. Every effort was made to address and resolve issues raised during the resident's stay. Any concerns raised were promptly handled  and discussed with the family at that time. Upon discharge there were no outstanding concerns, or safeguarding issues noted during the process. The decision to move the resident to another care home was based on a nursing needs assessment, indicating that a nursing home was required. This decision was not driven by neglect but rather by an evaluation of the resident's care requirements. Unfortunately, there are instances when a person's needs change, and they may no longer be safely cared for in a residential setting. Please feel free to contact the home to discuss further.
