We do hope the home’s recent response to your concerns offers some clarity and reassurance on the issues raised in this review. The team remembers your Mum fondly, she would ask for support and assistance whenever she felt she needed this, in addition to the daily personalised care provided. We’re sorry again we weren’t able to support with a replacement chair for Mum’s room - as explained, requests for specialised seating require referrals and assessments which can take around 4-6 weeks, which sadly wasn’t possible during Mum’s short stay. Our teams will always encourage residents to take part and spend time with other residents if they feel up to it, and they did visit Mum each day to see if she wished to join any activities.
