Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to review Corton House and are pleased that you feel the service is very good, despite the challenges found throughout the social care sector. We have found that residents are enjoying the calmer, more homely feel that our new silent alarm bells help foster. Please be assured that staff members are not reliant on seeing alarm calls on the screens alone; every member of the care team is equipped with a pager, which notifies the wearer of calls immediately. Higher importance calls – such as emergencies – do still sound aloud to demonstrate the urgency of the situation. If you have any other queries regarding the system, please feel free to discuss these with management who will be happy to clarify further. As you recognise, weekend staffing remains a challenge within the sector; we are currently on a recruitment drive which has thus far resulted in a number of fantastic new staff starting imminently.
