We have an activities co-ordinator who carries out many different activities, some as larger groups in the lounges and some as one-to-one, these include quizzes, arts and crafts, bingo and pamper sessions to name but a few; she tries to involve as many residents as possible during the day. She reads with the residents who require assistance. We have singers who come to visit the home at regular intervals.<br>The staff have sing songs with the residents and chat with them.<br>In the lounge we alternate between the TV and radio, we try to accommodate all residents. We also have a smart speaker for the residents to use.<br>When family and friends visit, we try to give them space to spend time with their loved ones without interference as we feel this is a special time, we encourage family and friends to take part in any activities with the resident.
