We are sorry to hear that you felt your father had a poor experience in our home. For context, we agreed to take your father after he had already been at three other care homes - homes that could not meet his needs or/and family expectations of what service he should be receiving.
As many families will appreciate, in very busy periods of the day, the staff may have two to three dozen residents that wish to use the toilet after lunches or dinners. The staff can only go as quick as they can during these periods and therefore some residents will have to wait. We need to honour their dignity and rights and therefore cannot demand or force they use the toilet before they wish to do so. During one 12hr shift your father used the staff call buzzer over 100 times. We cared for your father as best we could in a compassionate and loving way but we fully appreciate expectations will differ from family to family. May he rest in peace.
