Thank-you for your feedback and we are sorry that we did not meet you or your family's expectations during your dad's short stay at Ryland View. Sadly, we are unable to offer 1 to 1 care in our communal living setting without prior notice and agreement from the local authority to allow additional staff members to be recruited and allocated. Prior to admission we were given an assessment of dad's care needs which regrettably did not identify these additional requirements. We would have welcomed the opportunity to have met with you in advance of your dad's admission to discuss your view of his needs so we could have shared with you directly the care service provided and measures in place to minimise risk, and enabled you to agree if they were what you felt you needed for him. This may have improved your experience which is not truly reflective of the high standards of care that we provide for the residents and the support for their families and loved ones.
