Thank you for your recent review of our service at Carpathia Grange. We are very pleased to hear that your mum is happy and likes the home she lives in. However, we are sorry and disappointed to hear that you have concerns.

Our management team are continuously working with all departments to ensure that residents are settled and well cared for in every aspect. We would be grateful if you could please get in touch to confirm who you spoke to in management about your concern over the weekend, as we do not seem to have any correspondence about this until Monday morning when one of your family members contacted the home manager and shared the concerns. As explained in our last meeting, your mum's care needs are extremely complex, and the team are continually trying their best to assist without causing distress. As you can imagine, dementia care is often complex and the team endeavour to do the best for Mum by balancing both her physical and emotional care needs. We are more than happy to meet with you to discuss this in more detail.

Residents with dementia will at times mislay items and we work towards minimising this as much as possible. There are times that residents do not have adequate supplies of clothing or have accidents and there is a need to use spare clothing we have in the home for such eventualities (not other residents). Management have met with you previously and have always listened to your concerns. We would like to invite you to meet in person to go through your concerns thoroughly.
