Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. It's heartening to read positive feedback about our colleagues at Hatton Lea.  It's with sadness that we made the decision to close the three HBCCC units. Closing the Milnwood, Mossend and Orbiston communities isn't a decision that we wanted to make. It has become clear that the physical layout of the HBCCC communities isn't adequate to meet the needs of residents. We'll always act in the best interests of residents, and we have regrettably concluded, in consultation with our dementia care experts, that we're no longer able to deliver care in these communities to the standard that is consistent with best practice. We're working with NHS Lanarkshire to support residents, their families, and our colleagues, to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.
