Thank you for commenting on our lovely building and staff. As a residential home, we take great care in undertaking a full assessment, to ensure we can meet future residents' needs, this is a crucial part of understanding our new residents and ensuring we do not accept anyone who requires nursing care as this would not be in anyone's best interest. All our resident's needs are ongoingly reviewed as they can change over time. You'll see as per 2.4 of the signed residency agreement that it states this is reviewed monthly. It was, sadly, identified that we were unable to meet mum's needs and therefore in her best interest to be moved onto another type of home. These decisions are never taken lightly but our residents' welfare is paramount. We are sorry that as a result of mum's needs changing we had to give notice but I hope that you can understand this decision was made in her best interest as we are a residential and dementia care home that are unable to meet nursing needs, Kind regards, Jane.
