The allegations you make are unfounded, as discussed with your family. Due to this being posted publicly we have responded generally.
Money: Victoria House (VH) policy is that any money left in VH is held by the office for safe keeping. Residents and their family are made aware of this policy. VH cannot take responsibility for money that was left in contradiction of VH policy.
VH Staff: VH staff are well trained and every resident is dealt with dignity and respect. There is no evidence that VH staff have been shouting at residents.
Kicking her out: Sometimes a resident's needs advance and we are unable to continue to support them. When that occurs the local authority is involved to find a new placement. Whilst waiting for a new placement VH offers support to the resident including involving other health professionals.
Transport: Transport is offered to residents when moving if suitable transport is available. If suitable transport is unavailable the resident's family are told in advance to arrange external transport.
Service Quality: VH regularly arranges external inspections of the service to ensure compliance and a quality service. This involves discussions with residents, families and staff. The latest inspection (Sept 24) found VH to be 'Good' bordering on 'Outstanding'. VH is confident in the quality of the service and welcome any inspection by CQC or local authority.
