We can confirm that although the lift was out of service, activities were planned around this to ensure some continued for our residents, and the work was completed by Christmas Eve. Although no wellbeing coordinator was in post for around two weeks, the care staff did a great job with supporting activities and one to one time. Activities are part of all staff roles, and everyone plays their part in spending time with our residents; we see this as integral to building good relationships between colleagues and residents. The wellbeing coordinator has now returned, and we have recruited an additional wellbeing colleague who has commenced her role in the home.
