Thank you for taking the time to complete a review. I am sorry to hear that you feel the rooms are dated and that you have experienced poor communication whilst your mother has been in the home. The home is currently being supported daily whilst a new manager is recruited. At this time the home is developing a monthly newsletter for residents & families that include involvement in daily activities, the home has activities boards that display events & activities in the home. Residents with restricted mobility are assessed by the NHS Physio and Occ Health Team to review if a wheelchair is required, this would then be provided by Wheelchair services specific to the person's needs. For H&S reasons we do not supply generic wheelchairs in the home therefore if Occ Health do not feel a wheelchair is required it is the responsibility of the individual or family to provide.
