Your father was one of forty-one people who lived at Chestnut House during the period you refer to. All other forty families were happy with the care provided. Your visits to the home were curtailed due to a ruling by a court of law, that was outside of the home's circle of influence. This is why your visits were supervised. Your visits were supervised by a Social Worker who also visited the home on an ad-hoc basis. No concerns were raised further to any of their visits. Your father did not 'barely eat or drink' whilst at Chestnut House. In fact, he gained 6K in weight. This fact does not support your spurious allegation. Chestnut House is not understaffed or unclean. It is reviewed regularly by CIW and FCC. The home also completes its own suite of audits to ensure that standards are met. Records are maintained. It is correct that you have written to the home however, on each occasion, you have received a response, therefore, yet again, your allegation is incorrect.
