We are sorry to read your review and are sad to know that your lasting experience of our home has been one of concern, after your Mother enjoyed so many happy years (6) with us.We acknowledge there was a change in management 3 years ago. Our Manager has been in post at Wellfield for 11 years and during her employment with us, we have not received any concerns regarding her leadership. Following your mother's sad decline, we followed the appropriate procedures in line with our legal and regulatory responsibilities to ensure she received the correct level of care. We take the trust placed in us by families seriously and it's important to acknowledge that you entrusted us with your mother's care for 6 years. It is saddening for our team, many of whom knew and cared for your mother over the years, to read such a negative account after so many years of shared trust. Nonetheless, we remain respectful of your comments and we offer our heartfelt condolences at this very difficult time.
