Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear of your concerns and welcome the opportunity to respond. According to our care records, your mother was drinking well during her stay and there were no indications of dehydration at the time. We were also never informed that she became dehydrated or required a hospital visit, certainly not whilst at High Meadows. We can also confirm that Elastoplast is not used in our home. No concerns or complaints were raised with us by your mother or family members during her stay and, had we been made aware, we would have investigated immediately. With regard to outings, we kindly remind families that it is important to inform staff when taking residents out, so we can ensure their safety. Our reception and unit staff are normally present, and it is very unusual for no one to be visible unless an emergency requires staff to attend elsewhere. We remain committed to providing safe, supportive, and high-quality care for all our residents.
