Unfortunately your mother in law was admissted to hospital and we were requested to carry out an assessment due to a change in needs that she had. This resulted in her been unable to return to Darnall Grange. She was in hospital and the process was being led by social services and discharge liaision team with regards to getting an appropriate placement. We do understand the challenges of providing appropriate places in the city especially for nursing residents. Unfortunately the unit and client group she did reside in was no longer appropriate and as she was residing in hospital we had no alterantive to inform you at the earliest possible opportunity for the process to start with the hospital discharge team. We always try to provide the best care for our residents and ensure they are in a suitabnle environment and their needs can be met fully. We wish you and your mother in law well.
