Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding Mayfield View. We are very sorry to hear about your father’s experience and the distress this has caused you and your family. We take all feedback, positive or negative, extremely seriously, as it helps us to identify areas where we can improve the quality of our care and communication.
We are deeply saddened by your father’s passing and extend our sincere condolences. We would like to assure you that the safety and wellbeing of all residents are our highest priorities. We acknowledge your comments about care planning, communication, and the provision of end-of-life support. Our processes and staff training are subject to constant review to ensure they reflect best practice and regulatory expectations.
Furthermore, regarding inspection dates, care homes are inspected according to the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) scheduling and their regular review of data. We do not have any influence over their visiting schedules but do continue to work closely with them to maintain and evidence high standards of care.
We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. If you would be willing, we would welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly so that we can better understand the details of your experience and take appropriate action. We understand you have made contact with our Compliments and Complaints Team previously, and we encourage you to do so again via complimentsandcomplaints@careuk.com if you wish to discuss any further concerns, however the Senior Management Team are also glad to listen to any additional issues or worries face to face if you are comfortable with this.
