Thank you for the feedback, it has saddened me to read this amongst more positive reviews. I will investigate where we can improve our assessment process for new residents. We receive information from referrals and visit potential residents at home, often a family member will be present so that we are fully informed. Unfortunately, sometimes residents display behavior's we cant support in the long term. We are sad Kingsmount was not the right care home for your father. We were in constant communication with the wider family at each step as we received updates from involved parties. We appreciate family members cant always answer our calls, at these times we rely on families sharing information with each other. It is heartwarming that you reviewed our staff, care and support so highly. I would appreciate hearing from you regarding the lower scores so that we can identify specific areas for improvement. I sincerely hope your father settles at the new care home.
