Thank you for your review, which is much appreciated. I am pleased you are happy with the care your mother is receiving and that she is happy living with us. We do, unfortunately, have a problem with flies at the moment. This is the result of a combination of reasons, including the treatment of nearby fields by the farmers. As we are unable to use general fly spray, due to the potentially detrimental effect on residents' health, we have employed the services of a pest control company to help combat this situation which we hope will resolve the issue. With regard to the tea-time meal, we do offer a hot option as well as sandwiches, however, this is an area we are currently reviewing and I will mention your comments to our Trust Catering Manager, with whom I and the kitchen team are meeting later this week. Finally, our activities programme is currently being delivered with the support of the care team while our Activity Co-ordinator is away on holiday. However, we have held two big events over the past two weeks in addition to our normal daily activities programme.
